Full Pocket Residences is a small group home here at the Farm. We have a great group of guys living here, and we're hiring DSP (Direct Support Professionals) to join our team! Applicants should have the knowledge and ability to engage in the care, daily living skills, and life enhancement of persons with a developmental disability diagnosis and related health needs; the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; dedication to maintaining effective working relationships with residents and other support personnel; and a commitment to observe and protect the rights and personal dignity of all others.

DSP Duties include:
- Provide assistance with basic living skills and self care.
- Coordinate social and recreational programs and activities including transportation.
- Administer and record the administration of medications.
- Record relevant progress notes after each shift.
- Collaborate with residents and other staff to prepare meals.
- Understand residents’ Individual Service Plans, and implement specified services, and provide informal counseling.
- Provide overnight supervision to residents; responding to needs as necessary.
- Perform daily upkeep of the home to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Provide First Aid and CPR as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and assessment of skills necessary to ensure the safety of residents.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Schedule will vary and include evening, overnight, and weekend shifts.
